Check in at the Secret Garden Inn is 4 p.m. Start with a stroll around the namesake garden, which offers guests with a magnificent spot to stroll, lounge or rest. Inside, guests will find modern furnishings with a decidedly Victorian-era vibe. The building, which is historically designated, was constructed in 1888 by Scottish fur and leather merchant John McKay. Now a landmark building in Kingston’s downtown core, the Inn is just steps away from Queen’s University, Lake Ontario and countless local amenities.
The included private dinner is served between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Chef Ashley creates a new seasonal menu every week that is sure to delight with both its flavour and presentation. Each course is paired with a delicious wine specifically selected to compliment the food. Please advise us of any special needs or allergies at the time of booking.
