Editor's Note
There is something special about a summer road trip. The freedom to take the scenic route; the simple joy of having nowhere to be but the next stop.
This issue is a celebration of the open road. From Quebec's Côte-Nord to coastal Vancouver Island, central Newfoundland and the prairie roads of Saskatchewan, our writers set out in search of adventure.
What connects these stories is a sense of curiosity. A willingness to venture off course, follow a road to its end, and engage more deeply with the places we visit.
And long after we've forgotten the kilometres travelled, it's the stories we remember.
Wherever the road leads you this summer, we hope you'll find a story worth travelling for.
