DAY 1: ARRIVAL

Depart by kayak from the marina of L’Anse-Saint-Jean. You'll have a view of the majestic Caps Liberté, Égalité and Fraternité as you paddle. Enjoy swimming at L’Anse de Tabatière and take a lunch break at L’Anse Aimable. Feast on a gourmet dinner of duck confit and enjoy the evening sky before heading to sleep for the night along the shores of the fjord at L’Anse du Portage.

DAY 2: KAYAKING & DEPARTURE

On your second day, explore another part of the Saguenay: the islands of Saint-Louis and Saint-Barthélémy. Walk on thousand-year-old rocks and enjoy a delicious meal. After two days on the water, having enjoyed the beautiful scenery and fresh salty air, we return to civilization in the late afternoon, where the Fjord en Kayak team welcomes us back.

Interpretation of the fjord
High-end equipment – tandem/solo kayak and fiberglass paddle
The guide’s service is certified by the FQCK (Fédération Québécoise de Canot Kayak), has advanced first aid training, is pursuing or has completed a course in adventure tourism, and has a minimum of one summer’s experience on the fjord plus 90 hours of training with the company
The guide has a marine radio and is in contact with the Coast Guard and the Fjord en Kayak base
Three meals. Specify any allergies or dietary constraints when booking
Isothermal clothing, waterproof anoraks, booties, hats, poogies
Ground mattress and tent
Overnight stay in a campground
Permit and right of access to the Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay

Ideally, youth should have some camping experience
