Day 1: Horseshoe Bay to Gibsons, Sechelt, and Sargeant Bay

The trip begins at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal in West Vancouver where you'll board the ferry to the Sunshine Coast. Once you arrive on the Coast, make your way to the town of Gibsons - a charming seaside village with the backdrop of the Howe Sound and coast mountains in the distance. Enjoy lunch at our favourite cafe or one of the waterfront restaurants, followed by a stroll along the harbour, a visit to the Gibsons Public Market and Marine Education Centre, or pop into the many eclectic shops and galleries in town. To get acquainted with the area, join an Indigenous-led historical walking tour, kayak or stand-up paddle board tour of the Gibsons Harbour.

Continue on your drive up the coast through Roberts Creek and Sechelt to Sargeant Bay, where you'll arrive at a beautiful guesthouse perched on the rocks just steps from the ocean. This private stretch of paradise features various outdoor lounging areas, hot tubs and a fire pit, massage room, private dock, and floor to ceiling windows for incredible views of the ocean. A private catered dinner awaits you tonight at the guesthouse, featuring fresh, local cuisine and relaxing atmosphere as you gaze out onto the ocean. Meals included: Dinner.

Day 2: Free Day in Sechelt

Today is an open canvas - we'll work with you to plan an itinerary that suits your interests. You may wish to rent kayaks or stand-up paddle boards and set off on the ocean or inlets, or join a guided full- or half-day tour on the water. Explore the towns of Sechelt, Roberts Creek or Gibsons, with no shortage of local cafes, craft shops and galleries. Spend the day hiking nearby trails, or try your hand at mountain biking or fishing. Other guided experiences include an Indigenous cultural walking tour, Forest Bathing experience, brewery tour, or art tour where you'll get behind-the-scenes with some of the many renowned artists on the coast. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach with a good book, or indulge in a massage or private yoga class at the guesthouse. Dinner is free to enjoy as you wish - we can recommend some fantastic restaurants for a nice dinner out by the water, whether you're craving fresh oysters, Mexican, Italian, or a true fine dining experience. Meals included: Breakfast.

Day 3: Smuggler Cove and Madeira Park

Start the day with an optional morning yoga session or walk on the beach. Then, make your way to Smuggler Cove for a light hike through the forest out to a scenic cove. Enjoy lunch with a view at the marina cafe, and continue north to Madeira Park - a charming seaside community located in Pender Harbour. Stroll the boardwalk or take a scenic drive on the peninsula. In the afternoon you'll join a private boat cruise in the harbour and surrounding islands. Dinner can be enjoyed in Madeira Park upon your return, or brought onboard the boat cruise. Meals included: Breakfast.

Day 4: Princess Louisa Inlet & Chatterbox Falls

Today you join a guided float plane tour to Princess Louisa Inlet and the iconic Chatterbox Falls. You'll meet your pilot at the Sechelt Harbour and embark on a small sea plane to fly ~30 minutes north over a series of glacier-carved fjords, mountain peaks, and impressive waterfalls. Flying up to the head of Princess Louisa Inlet, you'll land in what is known as "the most beautiful anchorage in the world". After disembarking the plane, take the short walk through the forest to stand at the base of Chatterbox Falls, where you'll feel the spray and marvel at the beauty of this remote waterfall. Enjoy a few moments of peace in nature, overlooking the inlet and surrounding mountains, before heading off on your return flight to Sechelt.

The afternoon is free to enjoy as you wish, with time to explore Sechelt and have lunch by the water. We can arrange any activities you still have on your list, or you may choose to relax back at the guesthouse, lounging by the ocean, in the hot tub, or booking a massage. For dinner on your final night, we recommend a nearby fine-dining restaurant overlooking the ocean, or we can arrange another catered dinner at the guesthouse. Meals included: Breakfast.

Day 5: Return to Gibsons and Horseshoe Bay

Spend the morning relaxing by the lake or take out a canoe or stand-up paddle board for a cruise on the calm water. As you make your way leisurely down the coast, the scenic stops are yours for the choosing. When you reach Gibsons, enjoy a final stroll along the beach or the harbour, or stop for a drink at Persephone Brewing - a local favourite. Catch your ferry in the afternoon at a time of your choosing - with the option to extend your stay. The trip ends at Horseshoe Bay where you can carry on to Vancouver or up the Sea to Sky for more
adventures in the mountains. Meals included: Breakfast.
