Itinerary/Overview

Day 1:
Depart Vancouver on a scenic flight to Whitehorse. A guide will meet you at the airport and take you to Tiny Town, a basecamp in the heart of the Northern Coast Mountains about 90 minutes away. The basecamp is seasonally built and designed to have a minimal environmental footprint.

You’ll stay in one of the cozy two-bedroom cabins with a private bathroom, hot shower, small kitchenette and electricity. These cabins have been custom built for comfort and provide the perfect retreat at the end of a day of skiing.

Just outside the cabins is the helipad that will take you up the mountain for skiing, as well as the Tiny Town Saloon, where chef-prepared meals are shared with new friends. You’ll also find a wood-fired sauna for rest and relaxation. High-speed internet and international wi-fi calling are also included.

Day 2/3:
Start each day with a filling breakfast before setting out for a full day of heliskiing. With access to a tenure of 3,600 km2 of untouched terrain, you’ll have the opportunity to experience some of the most unique heliskiing in North America – all catered to your ski comfort level and preferences.

The location of Tiny Town puts skiers close to the runs, ensuring short helicopter rides to maximise time on the slopes.
With such a vast tenure and decades of guiding experience, the team at Yukon Heliski is equipped to serve skiers of all abilities. The terrain has long, fun, mellow powder runs which are perfect for intermediate skiers or better, as well as challenging slopes good for those with more advanced skill.

You are guaranteed 4,000 metres of vertical per day during your stay.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, down-day activities such as cultural tours, cross-country skiing, or fat biking can be arranged. Please note that these tours only run in the Northern high season, so chances of great snow conditions are very good.

In the evening, return to Tiny Town for an amazing meal catered by the professional chefs and enjoy some relaxation in the sauna. If conditions are good, you might get the chance to spot the Aurora Borealis.

*Please note that the 7-day ski package will include an additional 2 full days of heliskiing.

Day 4:
After another full day of skiing, your guide will drive you back to Whitehorse for an overnight stay in a local hotel. Indulge in a dinner at one of the amazing Whitehorse restaurants for the perfect end to an amazing getaway.

Day 4:
Take the hotel shuttle to the Whitehorse airport for your flight back to Vancouver. You’ll have a view of the Coast Mountains along the way.
