This Ski the Rockies Private Guided Adventures allows you to experience the best of Banff Sunshine, The Lake Louise Ski Resort, and Mt. Norquay. Designed for intermediate skiers and riders blue and above, private groups (maximum of 5 people) are broken down by skill level and terrain preferences. Both skiers and snowboarders are welcome to join all groups. Tips and coaching are provided throughout, with technical tips geared primarily towards skiers. Give us three days and you'll leave with memories and skills to last a lifetime

The private adventure is for a maximum of 5 people

  • Private guided adventures can be started any day of the week, and run daily from 10:15 am to 3:30 pm with a lunch break

Itinerary

Start your adventure at Banff Sunshine Village (or other mountain) and move through the program with the same guide for three consecutive days.

SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE

10:15 am Meet Guides. Get up-to-date information on the best runs of the day, daily snow and weather report, and run and grooming report. Look at the resort trail map and decide what kind of terrain each group would prefer: Relaxed Experience, Adventure Experience, or Thrill Seeking Experience.

10:30 am - 12:30 pm: Explore the mountain with your Whyte Museum, Parks Canada and CSIA Trained Guide and learn unique information about the resort and the Canadian Rockies.

12:30 pm - 1:30 pm: Lunch and Info Session. Talk about the history of the resort and show the guests our photo album of the Canadian Rockies, which includes before and after photos.

1:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Head back out on the slopes to explore the rest of the mountain with your guide, and gain a few ski improvement tips.

3:30 pm: Meet all groups for some Après and to discuss how their day went. Plan out a personal town map and explain what else there is to do in Banff National Park.

4:30 pm: Bus back to Banff
