Itinerary

Day 1: Art Adventures

Transfer north to snow country in the Haliburton Highlands. Arrive at the Haliburton Sculpture Forest for a guided tour on snowshoes to discover many of the forty-plus sculptures created by Canadian and international artists. Transfer to your accommodation at Bonnyview Inn (or similar) to check-in and settle in. After dinner, enjoy the dark sky and the sparkling stars from a cozy campfire. Warm up with a hot beverage and snack.

Day 2: Art Adventures

After breakfast, transfer to one of our glass art studios for 'A Glass Act', a half-day of glass blowing or flameworking to create some distinctive pieces. After grabbing lunch at Castle Antiques Cafe in the village of Haliburton, your art adventure will be a choice of a Photo Safari to capture winter landscapes and features OR a painting workshop. Plein Air Painting, Painting with Wolves, or Loon in the Studio are your painting options. Transfer back to your accommodation for dinner and a fireside performance by a local musician (your choice of genre). Sweet winter dreams.

Day 3: Art Adventures & Departure

After breakfast, you will have the choice of a guided Where its Art road tour to visit local studios, galleries and attractions or a moccasin making workshop (full day). You may also opt for one of the other workshops from the previous day. Lunch at Molly’s Bistro, Suwan’s Thai Restaurant or the Dominion Hotel. Transfer return to Toronto or beyond.
