We chose it because it is symbolic of the kind of country Canada is: vast in scale, yet made up of small communities, distinctive neighbourhoods and regions with strong local identities. Every place has its own people, food, history and way of welcoming visitors. We design custom trips for travellers who want to get to know Canada through the people and places that give each region its character.

    That begins with who we work with. Our partners are independent lodge owners, local guides, chefs, Indigenous tourism operators, makers and small businesses with roots in their communities. Their experience gives a journey its local knowledge and personal welcome. Working with them means more of your tourism dollars support the places you come to know.

    Founded in 2021, Landsby is a Canadian travel company with deep family roots. We are part of OST.travel, established by Ontario Sarracini in 1967. For three generations, the Sarracini family has helped people plan travel around the world, understanding that a good trip comes down to knowing what is worth your time.

    Landsby brings that experience home, focusing entirely on Canada. Our team of travel advisors, destination specialists, rail experts, operations professionals, writers and storytellers brings different backgrounds, languages and travel experiences to the work. We know Canada’s distances, seasons and weather can change a journey entirely. Our role is to listen to what matters to you, then bring together the right people, places and practical details to make it happen.
