LANDSBY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

HOW TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATION

To make your reservation, please contact us via email, phone, or visit our website at www.landsby.ca.

PAYMENTS

Deposits:

  • More than 60 days before departure: 25% deposit required.

  • 60 to 31 days before departure: An Additional 25% deposit is required.

  • 30 days or fewer before departure: Full payment required.

Final Payment:

  • For reservations made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Credit Card Bookings:

  • Authorization to use your credit card for deposit and/or final payment indicates your acceptance of our booking terms and conditions. Verbal authorization confirms your reservation. For security, we collect the cardholder’s billing address and CVV code.

OFFERS

Newsletter Discount:

  • Sign up for the Landsby Newsletter and save 10% on your next experience.

  • Valid for new online bookings only and for new newsletter subscribers.

  • Minimum purchase of $1,000 required.

  • Applicable to trips booked between January 16, 2023, and December 31, 2025, for travel between January 16, 2023, and October 31, 2026.

  • The deposit must be paid at the time of booking to receive the discount.

  • Cannot be combined with other offers or discounts and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.

Exclusions:

  • Offline bookings with a Landsby travel professional.

  • Rail-only bookings with VIA Rail or Rocky Mountaineer.

  • Flight-only bookings.

  • Other conditions may apply.

CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGE FEES

Individual Reservations:

  • Airfare, rail travel, transfers, and day tours are non-refundable at the time of booking.

  • 61 days or more before departure: Full refund minus a $100 + HST transaction fee.

  • 60 to 31 days before departure: 50% of the total price (unless otherwise stated).

  • Within 30 days of departure: 100% of the total price.

Additional Services:

  • Cancellation fees may apply to accommodations and optional excursions reserved before, during, or after the tour.

CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS TO TOURS

  • Landsby reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour due to operating requirements or circumstances beyond our control. We will attempt to rebook the same or a similar tour.

  • Landsby is not responsible for additional costs or fees related to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through Landsby.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all passengers purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

INFECTIOUS DISEASE AND COVID-19

Travellers acknowledge the risks related to the spread of infectious or contagious diseases. It is the traveller’s responsibility to take necessary precautions. Safety protocols may be in place and services may be impacted without notice.

PARTICIPATION

Landsby reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant and to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the group.

TRAVELLERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Please inform us of any disabilities or special needs at the time of reservation. While we will make reasonable attempts to accommodate, we are not responsible if unable to do so. A qualified companion must accompany travellers requiring assistance.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is not allowed on transportation provided exclusively by Landsby.

PRICE GUARANTEE

All tour prices are based on rates available at the time of booking and are quoted in Canadian funds. Once a deposit is received, the land price is guaranteed, excluding surcharges and government tax increases.

PASSPORTS & VISAS

All passengers require a valid passport. Some countries require validity for six months beyond the return date. It is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain all necessary documents.

ACCOMMODATIONS & SERVICES

Landsby is responsible for supplying the services and accommodations outlined, except where changes are necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. Comparable services will be provided when possible.

REFUNDS

Refund requests are subject to these terms and conditions. No refunds for unused services or voluntary modifications.

RESPONSIBILITY

Landsby acts as a representative of passengers and is not responsible for the quality of services provided by third parties. We are not liable for delays, loss, accidents, or changes due to unforeseen circumstances.

ITINERARY VARIATIONS

We strive to improve our itineraries and may make necessary changes. At peak times, duplicate departures may operate, sometimes in reverse order.
