Summer Aurora

Seeing the Aurora Borealis isn’t just for winter adventures. From about mid-August, the skies over the Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Churchill Manitoba get dark enough to be able to clearly see the Northen Lights at night. Visiting these northern destinations in the late summer and early fall provides a different experience than winter travel, with options for hiking, paddling and wildlife viewing. Visit our Northern Lights itinerary page for winter Aurora getaways.
