Aurora Borealis Adventure

Experience Whitehorse during the day and marvel at the Northern Lights at night!

The magic of the Yukon comes to life on this 4-day northern adventure. Spend your days exploring Whitehorse from your centrally located hotel, enjoy a guided city tour and head out on optional daytime adventures such as ice fishing, snowshoeing or dogsledding. In the warmer months, you can enjoy hiking and fishing.

At night, we will whisk you away from the city lights to a cozy cabin or wall tent with an outdoor platform for an unobstructed view of the Aurora Borealis. You’ll have three chances to view the mystical Northern Lights on this trip.  Warm up with a coffee or tea as you wait by the fire for the Aurora show to start: an eerie green sheen that ripples into the night sky and arcs slowly to suddenly burst across the full expanse of the sky — nature at its best!

My wife Cristiane and I just want to let you know that we had a great time in the Yukon. Our travel arrangements were on point – the flights, the hotel, the tours… everything worked out very well. Please, thank the whole team at Landsby for making our trip so memorable and special. Also, the people at Northern Tales were extremely professional and so very nice! We loved every minute we spent in the Yukon. We’re already looking forward to the next trip!

I am back from my Yukon trip and I want to thank you for all your help!  Everything was amazing.  The airline, Air North, pleasantly surprised me with their professionalism and service.  They even serve real food – deli and warm cookies!  My hotel, Best Western Gold Rush Inn, is located centrally, very clean with helpful staff.  The tour group ran an amazing tour.  They are very organized, on time, dedicated and friendly!  I enjoyed every minute of my stay in Whitehorse.
