DAY 1: CALGARY - WELCOME TO THE GATEWAY TO THE ROCKIES

Arrive in Calgary and enjoy a seamless transition to your hotel with our complimentary airport shuttle. Pick up your motorcycle rental (if applicable) at Calgary Harley-Davidson, conveniently located across from the hotel. Connect with your fellow travellers for a warm welcome, orientation, and briefing over a delicious dinner.

DAY 2: COWBOY TRAIL, HIGHWOOD PASS & BANFF - MAJESTIC MOUNTAINSCAPES

Kickstands up at 08:30! With tanks full and spirits high, we'll set off southwest on the historic Cowboy Trail, a route that whispers tales of Canada's pioneering past. Our journey continues south to Longview, where the biker-friendly Twin Cities Saloon offers a perfect spot to refuel and stretch. The adventure deepens as we turn northwest into the majestic Rocky Mountains and the unspoiled wilderness of Kananaskis Country. Prepare to be awestruck as we ascend the Highwood Pass, the highest paved road in Canada, a seasonal treasure offering unparalleled mountain vistas and potential wildlife sightings. We'll then merge onto the Trans Canada Highway for a short ride into the renowned town of Banff, our haven for the night. DAY 3: BANFF - DISCOVERING THE JEWEL OF THE ROCKIES

Ascend to the summit of Sulphur Mountain and be captivated by panoramic views of six majestic mountain ranges, the Bow Valley, and the charming Town of Banff below. Immerse yourself in the history and natural wonders of Canada’s first National Park at the Banff Interpretive Centre. For those seeking a mountaintop bite, the Castle Mountain Coffee shop offers grab-and-go options. After our gondola experience, we'll return to Banff, where the remainder of the day is yours to explore and unwind. DAY 4: ICEFIELDS PARKWAY & JASPER - A JOURNEY THROUGH GLACIAL WONDERS

Today, we embark on a legendary ride along the Bow Valley Parkway, a scenic route that unveils the Rockies' grandeur, before merging onto the world-famous Icefields Parkway towards Jasper. Along the way, we'll pause for a unique do-it-yourself BBQ lunch at Saskatchewan River Crossing's Parkway Pub. Our journey continues north, leading us to the Columbia Icefields Adventure, where you'll have the extraordinary opportunity to step onto the ancient Athabasca Glacier. We'll then continue along the parkway to the captivating town of Jasper, our stop for the night.

DAY 5: WELLS GRAY PROVINCIAL PARK & CLEARWATER - INTO THE WILDERNESS

Today, we ride southwest through Valemount and Blue River, entering Wells Gray Provincial Park, a haven for outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure in British Columbia's wilderness. We'll take a break in Blue River to stretch our legs before continuing southwest to the town of Clearwater. From there, we'll venture north into Wells Gray Provincial Park, where the park road winds its way to the majestic Helmcken Falls. We'll return to Clearwater for the night, with dinner at the Hop ‘N’ Hog Tap & Smokehouse.

DAY 6: THE CARIBOO, DUFFY LAKE ROAD & WHISTLER - FROM RANCHLANDS TO MOUNTAIN RESORT

Kickstands up at 08:00! We'll ride south to the town of Little Fort, then northwest to 100 Mile House, nestled in the heart of the Cariboo Region, a land of rolling ranchlands and cowboy culture. From there, we'll turn south onto Highway 97, riding to Cache Creek and Lillooet for a stop. The biker-friendly Lillooet’s Cookhouse is an ideal spot for a snack. We then depart Lillooet for Whistler, riding the legendary Duffy Lake Road, a scenic masterpiece that demands photo stops to capture its beauty. Emerging from the Duffy Lake Road into Pemberton, we'll continue south along the Sea to Sky Highway into the renowned mountain resort of Whistler. Dinner is on your own tonight, with Whistler Village offering a vibrant array of dining experiences.

DAY 7: SEA TO SKY, GROUSE MOUNTAIN & VANCOUVER - COASTAL VISTAS AND CITYSCAPES

Kickstands up at 08:30! We'll ride south along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway, with Howe Sound's coastal beauty unfolding to our right. We'll pass through Britannia Beach and Horseshoe Bay before merging onto Highway #1, the Trans Canada Highway. Our journey takes us through North Vancouver, where we'll experience the Peak of Vancouver with a ride on the Grouse Mountain Gondola. Ascend high above the Lower Mainland for breathtaking views of Vancouver, the Pacific Ocean, and the Strait of Georgia. On a clear day, you might even glimpse Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and the northern tip of Washington State. At the summit, enjoy a snack and soak in the scenery. Grouse Mountain offers a variety of attractions, including the Wildlife Refuge, home to the resident grizzly bear couple, ‘Grinder’ and ‘Coola.’ We'll then continue east through Vancouver and into the fertile Fraser Valley. Riding along the north shore of the Fraser River, we'll pass through Maple Ridge and Mission before arriving in the resort town of Harrison Hot Springs. Dinner is on your own tonight; we recommend the Black Forest Restaurant for a taste of Bavaria.

DAY 8: FRASER CANYON & THE OKANAGAN VALLEY - RIVER ROADS AND WINE COUNTRY

Kickstands up at 08:00 sharp! Today promises a rewarding ride, the longest of our tour. We'll cruise along Highway #7 before turning north to navigate the twists and turns of the Fraser Canyon, high above the mighty Fraser River. We'll pass by Hells Gate and continue to the small town of Spences Bridge. Leaving the Trans Canada Highway, we'll turn east onto Highway #8, riding into the town of Merritt in the Nicola Valley. From Merritt, we'll take the scenic Highway #5A to Princeton in the Similkameen Valley. We'll stop for a stretch and a snack in Princeton before continuing along Highway #3, following the Similkameen River and passing through the historic mining town of Hedley and Keremeos. Our ride continues through the Richter Pass and down to Osoyoos, located at the southern end of the Okanagan Valley. Osoyoos, a major border crossing with Washington State, is home to Lake Osoyoos, the warmest freshwater lake in Canada, which straddles the US-Canada border. From Osoyoos, we'll ride north on Highway #97, passing vineyards and fruit stands, to Penticton, nestled at the southern tip of Lake Okanagan. We'll spend two nights in Penticton at a lakeside resort hotel with its own beach. Dinner tonight is yours to enjoy; we suggest the Barking Parrot Bar for sunset views over the lake.

DAY 9: PENTICTON - OKANAGAN VALLEY DELIGHTS

Enjoy a leisurely morning with breakfast on your own. Today is dedicated to savoring the delights of the South Okanagan. Across from our hotel, the Penticton Open-Air Community Market and Farmer’s Market beckons with local treasures (open 08:30 to 1:00). This is the largest open-air community market in the Okanagan, a perfect place to stroll, connect with vendors, and enjoy some free time. This afternoon, we'll immerse ourselves in the region's renowned wine culture with a Grape Savvy Wine Tour, complete with lunch. Dinner is on your own tonight, with numerous restaurants within easy walking distance.

DAY 10: THE SHUSWAP & REVELSTOKE - LAKES, MOUNTAINS, AND THRILLS

Kickstands up at 08:30. We'll ride north on Highway #97 through Peachland and West Kelowna before taking the scenic Westside Road along Lake Okanagan. This route offers stunning lake views and avoids the traffic of Kelowna and Vernon. We'll rejoin Highway #97 north of Vernon, riding through Armstrong and Enderby before heading north on Highway #97B to Sorrento for a stop at the Dreamcycle Motorcycle Museum. From there, we'll ride east on Highway #1, the Trans Canada, through 3 Valley Gap to Revelstoke for the night. Dinner is on your own tonight, with dining options at the resort. Consider a thrilling ride on the Pipe Mountain Coaster before or after dinner!

DAY 11: THE KOOTENAYS - LAKESIDE SERENITY

Kickstands up at 08:30. Today, we journey south into the Kootenay Region of British Columbia, a land of pristine lakes and towering mountains. We'll cruise along Highway #23 to the Upper Arrow Lake Ferry for a scenic 20-minute crossing from Shelter Bay to Galena. Continuing south on Highway #23, we'll stop in Nakusp for a break. From there, we'll cruise south on Highway #6, enjoying breathtaking lake and mountain vistas all the way to Nelson, our overnight destination.

DAY 12: KOOTENAY LAKE & HOT SPRINGS RELAXATION

Kickstands up at 08:30. We'll ride a short distance along Kootenay Lake to Balfour and board the Kootenay Lake Ferry for a 35-minute crossing to Crawford Bay. Disembarking, we'll ride south along the eastern shore of Kootenay Lake to Creston, home of the Columbia Brewing Company, brewers of the beloved Kokanee Beer. We'll pause for a stop along the way. Afterward, we'll head east towards the Rockies, passing through Cranbrook and continuing to Fairmont Hot Springs, our stop for the night. Time permitting, we'll visit the Fort Steele Heritage Town Living Museum after Cranbrook. Dinner is on your own tonight, with several dining options at the resort.

DAY 13: THE ROCKIES BECKON: RETURN TO CALGARY

Kickstands up at 08:30. Today, we ride north into the heart of the Rocky Mountains on Highway #93, surrounded by awe-inspiring scenery. As Highway #93 merges, we'll cross the Trans Canada Highway and take Highway #1A, the scenic Bow Valley Parkway, heading east. We'll bypass Banff for a short stretch before rejoining the Bow Valley Parkway after Canmore, riding all the way back to Calgary and Calgary Harley-Davidson. We'll return our rental motorcycles and head across the street to our hotel for the night. Tonight, we'll celebrate our journey with a farewell dinner at Moxie’s Restaurant & Bar, sharing laughter and reminiscing about our incredible Western Canada motorcycle adventure.

Pricing Details

  • Rates are based on double occupancy and one Motorcycle
  • This tour is subject to availability at time of booking
  • A 25% deposit is required, with the remaining balance due 65 days prior to arrival
  • If you’re not riding your own, motorcycle rentals are from Calgary Harley-Davidson. The rental motorcycle will be picked up a the arrival after the hotel check-in. The rental contract is exclusively between the Tour Participant (renter) and Calgary Harley-Davidson (rental company)
  • Motorcycle rental includes choice of the following Harley-Davidson models, subject to availability at time of booking: Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Road Glide Ultra Limited, Street Glide Special, Road Glide Special, Road King & Heritage Softail
  • All rental bikes come with driver floorboards, saddle bags, passenger backrest, passenger foot pegs or floorboards and highway pegs
  • A Driver’s Backrest is available for a flat rate one-time charge of $50 at the discretion of the renter and must be purchased at the time of the initial reservation
  • Damage Deposit: A per bike damage deposit of CAD $2,500 is required for each rental at time of pick-up. Calgary Harley- Davidson will take this deposit in the form of a pre-authorization on the tour participant’s credit card. This is not a charge, merely a pre-authorization. When the bike is returned with no damage, the pre- authorization will be released.
  • If you are not renting a motorcycle and prefer to ride your own, assistance is available to help ship your bike through The Canadian Motorcycle Tourism Association and CMT Travel Services. Options are provided for shipping your motorcycle to Calgary and back home, allowing you to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Please contact for more details.
