Arrive at Madawaska Kanu Centre, set in a tranquil forest location along the Madawaska River. This will be your base for the next five nights.

Day 02: Introduction to Whitewater Canoeing or Kayaking

Start your day with a breakfast in the dining room or outside on the patio. MKC takes pride in serving healthy, hearty, and delicious meals, sourcing locally whenever possible and adding a special touch with herbs and edible flowers from their own garden. At 9:00 am, join the welcome meeting and meet your instructors for the week. Get outfitted with your equipment and head to the river to learn new whitewater concepts. After a buffet lunch, return to the river to practice and develop your new skills. In the afternoon, relax with a snack on the MKC deck before dinner. The evening concludes with an instructional video session.

Meet your instructor and head back to the river to refine your paddling techniques. After a buffet lunch, continue practicing on the river. In the afternoon, unwind with a snack on the deck, followed by dinner. The evening features a river rescue session to enhance your safety skills.

Day 04: Video Analysis and Free Time

Head to the river with your instructor and have your paddling techniques captured on video to gain a different perspective. Following a buffet lunch, participate in video analysis with your instructor. The afternoon is free for optional massages, flatwater practice, or other activities. Enjoy a BBQ dinner and spend the evening relaxing with games, a sauna, yoga, or simply chilling on the deck.

Day 05: Final River Practice and Awards Ceremony

Begin the day on the river to further develop your skills. After a buffet lunch, return to the river for more practice. In the afternoon, snack on the deck and then enjoy dinner. The evening concludes with an awards ceremony celebrating your progress and achievements.
