Ski British Columbia: Big White Resort

This itinerary is a suggestion and can be customized based on your interests and skill level. If you have chosen a shorter duration, disregard extra days at the Resort.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL & SETTLING IN

Upon arrival at Kelowna Airport (YLW), your pre-arranged transfer will transport you directly to Big White Resort. Check into your chosen accommodation and settle in. If you've pre-booked equipment rentals, pick up your gear from the Village Centre Mall rental shop. Spend your evening unwinding and exploring the immediate vicinity of your accommodation, perhaps taking a stroll through the illuminated village.

DAY 2: FIRST TRACKS & VILLAGE EXPLORATION

Today marks your first day of skiing or snowboarding. Head out and make your first tracks on the mountain. Consider a group lesson if you're looking to refine your skills or are new to the sport. Explore the runs accessed by the Ridge Rocket Express or Bullet Express, offering diverse terrain. After a thrilling day on the slopes, experience the lively après-ski atmosphere at one of the resort's popular spots like Snowshoe Sam's.

DAY 3: ADVENTURE AND NIGHT EXPLORATION

Start your day by exploring the Black Forest Express area, known for its diverse terrain and often excellent snow conditions. After a morning on the slopes, head to the Happy Valley Adventure Park for some non-skiing thrills. Here, you can experience the excitement of the Tube Park (purchase of a tubing pass required) or glide across the ice at Canada's highest elevation skating rink (skate rentals available for an additional cost). Consider taking advantage of Big White's renowned night skiing on select runs, which is included with your day pass and provides a magical experience under the stars.

DAY 4: SCENIC VIEWS AND RELAXATION

Today, venture to the Gem Lake Express for access to a more remote side of the mountain, often boasting fresh powder and stunning views. Following your runs, treat yourself to some well-deserved relaxation. You could indulge in a rejuvenating soak in your accommodation's hot tub if available, or simply relax in your room.

DAY 5: EXPLORING MORE TERRAIN

Dedicate this day to exploring more of Big White's vast terrain. You might want to revisit a favorite area or seek out new challenges. For advanced skiers, consider the runs off the Cliff Chair. Spend your afternoon enjoying the resort's amenities or catching up on any activities you might have missed.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE

Take some time for last-minute souvenir shopping in the Village Centre Mall. As your Big White adventure concludes, your pre-arranged transfer will pick you up from your accommodation and take you back to Kelowna Airport for your flight home.
