Day 1: Halifax, NS - Arrival
Arrive in Halifax, pick up your rental car and transfer to your accommodations which are ideally located in the downtown core of this vibrant and cosmopolitan urban centre on the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 2: Halifax to Moncton, NB
Explore the Bay of Fundy and the world’s highest tides as you meander its colourful coastline to New Brunswick. En route, explore the Joggins Fossil Cliffs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will see magnificently exposed layers of rock revealing the world’s most complete fossil record of life in the “Coal Age” of 300 million years ago. Day 3: Moncton to Saint John, NB

Day 6: Digby to Halifax, NS
Travel the lush Annapolis Valley today and visit three significant historic sites boasting incredible views as you make your way to Halifax for one last night in the Maritimes.
First is Fort Anne National Historic Site, one of the most hotly contested pieces of land on the entire continent which became Canada’s first administered National Historic Site in 1917. Scottish, French, and English settlers have clashed over this prize on the banks of Nova Scotia’s Annapolis River prompting thirteen attacks, seven change of hands, and the ratification of the Treaty of Boston.
Next is Port Royal National Historic Site, featuring a reconstruction of Samuel de Champlain’s Habitation, one of the earliest European settlements in North America.
Finally, fact and fiction blend to reveal the romance of the Land of Evangeline at Grand Pre National Historic Site, a powerful monument located in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that unites the French Acadian people and memorializes their tragic upheaval.
