DAY 1: ARRIVE IN WINNIPEG & PREPARE FOR THE ARCTIC

Arrive in Winnipeg, Manitoba's vibrant capital, and check into the luxurious Grand Winnipeg Hotel for a relaxing evening. Use this time to settle in and prepare for an exciting journey north to the Arctic.

DAY 2: JOURNEY TO CHURCHILL, TOWN EXPLORATION & FIRST AURORA NIGHT

This morning, fly north to Churchill, the "Polar Bear Capital of the World." Upon arrival, your guide will greet guests, assist with hotel check-in, and then provide an insightful Town and Area tour. This tour will help you get their bearings and learn about the rich history and unique culture of this fascinating northern town, including iconic sites like Miss Piggy, the Polar Bear Jail, and the historic Cape Merry battery, built by the Hudson Bay Company to protect against French warships in the 1700's.

As dusk settles, the "Nights Under Lights" experience begins! You will join others at an acclaimed, award-winning location, tucked away in the boreal forest far from ambient light, offering optimal conditions for aurora photography and viewing. A beautiful, spacious yurt provides a warm and comfortable sanctuary from the cold, complete with a cozy wood-burning stove, refreshments, and snacks. This is the first magical night to witness the aurora!

DAYS 3 & 4: CHURCHILL ADVENTURES & NORTHERN LIGHTS SPECTACLE

Enjoy leisurely mornings after late-night aurora experiences. The afternoons are for immersing oneself in Churchill's unique environment and history. Choose from an array of exciting daytime activities such as thrilling dog sledding excursions, serene snowshoe tours through the pristine landscape, and engaging visits to the Parks Canada Centre for a fascinating presentation on life during the Hudson Bay Company era, as well as other local museums and historic sites.

As evening approaches, reconvene at the "Nights Under Lights" location. Between vibrant displays of the Northern Lights, relax in comfort, share stories, and even listen to captivating tales from local Indigenous speakers. Keep an ear out for the Aurora Gong – a special signal for when the lights begin to dance! DAY 5: FAREWELL CHURCHILL, RETURN TO WINNIPEG
