Itinerary/Overview

This itinerary is a sample and may vary based on weather conditions and wildlife activity. The opportunity to view the Northern Lights is weather dependent. Be sure to pack appropriately for varying weather conditions, with layers and warm clothing recommended.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN WINNIPEG

Upon arrival, make your way to your designated hotel in Winnipeg. Spend the day exploring the vibrant city at your leisure, soaking in the local culture and attractions.

DAY 2: JOURNEY TO CHURCHILL

After checking out from your hotel, join the group transfer to the airport. Fly from Winnipeg to Churchill and check in at the cozy Lazy Bear Lodge. Begin your adventure with a Churchill Heritage Tour, exploring historic sites such as Cape Merry and the exterior of the 'Polar Bear Jail.' Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 3: HELICOPTER TOUR AND PARKS CANADA PRESENTATION

Enjoy a 1.5-hour helicopter tour, soaring over the vast tundra with views of the magnificent coastline of Hudson Bay and the town of Churchill. Keep an eye out for polar bears, beluga whales, moose, caribou, red and Arctic foxes, ptarmigan, and Arctic hares. Later, attend a Parks Canada Interpretive Presentation to learn more about the area's cultural and natural history. Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 4: ZODIAC EXCURSION, ARCTIC CRAWLER EXCURSION, AND DOG MUSHING

Begin the day with a 2-hour Zodiac boat excursion (weather dependent) on the Churchill River, where you can meet the curious beluga whales. In the afternoon, embark on a Tundra Tour in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area aboard a custom-built Arctic Crawler vehicle. Finish the day with a dog mushing experience, which includes an exhilarating 1-mile ride and a chance to spend time with the dogs, learning how they are trained. Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 5: RETURN TO WINNIPEG

Today, enjoy some free time to relax or explore Churchill one last time. After checking out from Lazy Bear Lodge, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Winnipeg. Upon arrival, check in at your Winnipeg hotel. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

DAY 6: DEPART

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out from your Winnipeg hotel, marking the end of your memorable journey. Meals included: breakfast.
