5) See the Sights in Quebec City
You haven’t really been to Quebec until you’ve explored the quaintly beautiful Quebec City. From the architecture and general aesthetic, you’d be forgiven for believing you’re somewhere in Europe. And when winter comes and the snow blankets the city, there is a distinct feeling of being in a sleepy alpine town in France. Make sure you visit Place Royale, a square of buildings constructed in the 17th and 18th centuries. See where Quebec was first founded. The Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is also guaranteed to wow even non-religious visitors to the city.

For many who visit, food is top of the menu as the city is famous for its poutine, one of Canada’s most beloved dishes. Make sure you visit Old Montreal — the part of the city established in the 17th century by settlers from France. The architecture is incredible, the promenades elegant and the area has some of the best restaurants in the city.
3) Explore Canyon Sainte-Anne
Canyon Sainte-Anne is just a 30-minute drive from Quebec City, which is remarkable when you take in the absolute sense of wilderness and wonder you feel when you arrive there. Located just outside the town of Beaupré, this area is characterized by a steep-sided gorge, a powerful river and a spectacular 74 metre high waterfall.
