Landsby Team Expands To Serve You Better
Over the past year, our small but dedicated team at Landsby has been hard at work creating singular and purposeful experiences to help Canadians explore Canada in new ways. Our unique Landsby experiences are created in partnership with the best domestic suppliers — experiences that are built by Canadians, for Canadians — and are geared to support local Canadian establishments and communities through tourism.
This month we have proudly expanded our team to two new members.
Welcome Joe Baker, Landsby’s new Global Ambassador
The extraordinary Joe Baker, a passionate entrepreneur within Canada’s tourism, hospitality and education sectors and a vocal advocate for an inclusive, future-forward industry, has come onboard as Landsby’s new Global Ambassador.
Joe was previously the Dean at Centennial College’s School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts and has held senior management roles at George Brown College. He serves on the board of directors for Tourism HR Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario.
As Global Ambassador, Joe will assist with content creation, experience development and collaboration designed to elevate Landsby’s mission to curate and promote Canadian tourism to Canadians and to international visitors on a global stage.
Welcome Vanessa O’Brien, Landsby’s new Canadian Travel & Rail Specialist
Vanessa brings a huge wealth of travel expertise to her new role as Landsby’s Canadian Travel & Rail Specialist. She has travelled extensively in North America, the UK and Europe, the Caribbean and parts of South America.
Vanessa knows the ins and outs of the Canadian rail industry. She has not only worked in various roles at VIA Rail for 13 years but has travelled much of Canada by rail. We are excited to have her expertise and enthusiasm for Canadian travel on our team.
If you have questions about a holiday or want to start planning your dream getaway, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Vanessa!
